(This part of Dooly County later became part of Macon County.) Bardin and Sarah had 11 children: William Walter Hooks; Jesse Walters Hooks; Hardy A Hooks; Herring Hooks; Mary Hooks; Susannah Caroline Hooks; Sarah M Hooks; James Bardin Hooks; Martha J Hooks; Tabitha "Bicy" M Hooks and Thomas Jefferson Hooks.
